Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi on Saturday lamented the Lahore Qalandars’ subpar performance against Islamabad United in the opening match of the tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV programme “Zor Ka Jor“, Afridi said: “Giving the excuse of not having the right combination is not fair.”
He said, “It is up to the seniors within the team to embrace the fighting spirit.”
“It is commendable to provide the youngsters with an opportunity to play, but it is not right to change the batting order of the regular openers,” he added.
