Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, along with a high-level delegation, are on an official visit to Saudi Arabia at the special invitation of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
During the visit, the delegation had the privilege of performing Umrah late Thursday night. In a rare honour, the doors of the Holy Kaaba were specially opened for the Pakistani delegation. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir offered special prayers inside the Kaaba, expressing gratitude to Allah Almighty for Pakistan’s recent achievements, particularly in economic stability and public welfare.
Special prayers were also offered for the development and prosperity of Pakistan, unity of the Muslim Ummah, and relief for oppressed Muslims, especially in Kashmir and Palestine.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar were also part of the official delegation.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif performed Umrah along with members of the Pakistani delegation during his ongoing official visit to Saudi Arabia.
During the pilgrimage, special prayers were offered for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan, the unity of the Muslim Ummah, and for the oppressed people of Gaza.
Prime Minister is leading a high-level delegation to the Kingdom, where he is also scheduled to meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss matters of mutual interest.
