British-Albanian pop sensation Dua Lipa has confirmed her engagement to actor Callum Turner.
In an interview with British Vogue, the singer revealed that she and her boyfriend Callum are officially engaged. “Yes, we are engaged,” Dua said, adding, “It’s very exciting.”
The singer also opened up about her engagement ring, sharing that Callum had it custom-made after consulting her friends and sister. “I’m obsessed with it. It’s so me,” she said.
Speaking about their relationship, Dua shared: “It’s a lovely feeling to know that the person you want to spend the rest of your life with knows you so well.”
She added that she now truly understands what engagement means: “For the first time, I get what it really means to be engaged.”
“It’s the decision to grow old together, to share a life and—who knows—be best friends forever. It’s a very special feeling,” she said.
The singer also spoke about wedding plans, saying: “I want to finish my tour first and Callum is busy with filming, so we’re just enjoying this time together.”
“I’ve never been the kind of person who dreamt about my wedding or what kind of bride I’d be,” she admitted.
“But suddenly I’m like, ‘Oh, what am I going to wear?’”
It is pertinent to note that Dua Lipa and Callum Turner reportedly began dating in January 2024.
