Cricket Australia has officially released the schedule for the Big Bash League (BBL) 2025-26, with a record number of Pakistani cricketers set to feature in the action-packed tournament.
The league matches will run from December 14, 2025, to January 18, 2026, while the finals series will take place from January 20 to January 25, 2026.
According to reports, Pakistan’s star batter Babar Azam will make his BBL debut on December 14, representing the Sydney Sixers. Other top Pakistani players, including Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Rizwan, Hasan Ali, and Shaheen Shah Afridi, will also showcase their talent in the league.
The schedule highlights exciting fixtures such as the Sydney Derby and the Boxing Day double-header, which are expected to thrill cricket fans. The traditional New Year’s night clash between the Adelaide Strikers and Brisbane Heat is also set to be a key attraction of the tournament.
