RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Naval Staff of Pakistan, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, met with the Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces Vice Admiral, Mohammad Bin Abdul Rehman Al-Ghoraibi. During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, regional security, and bilateral cooperation.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), upon his arrival at the Naval Headquarters, Vice Admiral Abdulrahman Al-Ghuraibi was presented with a guard of honor by a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Navy.
ISPR stated that Admiral Naveed Ashraf highlighted the Pakistan Navy’s efforts for regional peace and security through Regional Maritime Security Patrols.
The Saudi naval chief appreciated the Pakistan Navy’s contributions to maritime security and regional stability. He also commended the high-standard training provided to Saudi cadets at the Pakistan Naval Academy.
According to ISPR, on this occasion, both sides reiterated their commitment to further strengthening the scope of defense relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The visit of the Saudi naval chief is expected to further enhance ties, particularly between the armed forces of both nations.
