Pant praised for scoring fifty with fractured foot

India vice-captain Risabh Pant has received standing ovation for scoring fifty with fractured foot in the first innings against England on the day two of the 4th Test match at the Old Trafford in Manchester on Thursday.

According to details, Pant has stunned the cricket experts and fans when he returned at the crease on the day two after he got a foot injury when Chris Woakes was bowling.

But he did not look back and notched a crucial fifty that powered India to 358 in the first innings against the home team in the crucial match.

Pant has not only performed his role as the vice-captain but also entertained the crowd in a boisterous fashion.

On the other side, England captain Ben Stokes was once again brilliant with the ball and went on to clinch a five-for against the visitors.
