ISLAMABAD: The federal government has increased the marriage grant for labourers registered with Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) by 100 percent.
It has been reported that Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain has made great efforts in this regard.
Spokesperson Mustafa Malik stated that a 15pc increase has been made in the pension of labourers registered with EOBI. Additionally, the marriage grant for labourers has been doubled, and the death grant has been increased by 50pc.
Mustafa Malik further said that Chaudhry Salik Hussain is committed to the welfare of labourers and aims to provide them with international-standard facilities. Labourers are playing a vital role in economic recovery, and the government will take every step for national development and public prosperity.
