PSX hits historic high as bullish momentum drives KSE-100 upward

KARACHI: Bulls continued to dominate the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Thursday, with the KSE-100 Index reaching yet another milestone of 146,000.

The index briefly touched an intraday high of 146,081.02 at around midday and a low of 145,250.17.

On the fourth day of the current trading week, the market opened on a positive note, with the KSE-100 Index surging by over 900 points to reach 145,981.

However, at 2:30 pm, the index came down to 145,661.93 points, losing 573.44 points.

On Wednesday, the KSE-100 Index had risen by 2,051 points, ending at 145,088 points.

US DOLLAR

Meanwhile, in the interbank market, the US dollar fell by 17 paisas, from Rs282.67 to Rs282.50.

The bulls showed unstoppable momentum at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday, as the benchmark KSE-100 Index surged past the 145,000 mark for the first time during intraday trading.
