Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and her politician husband, Raghav Chadha, have revealed that they are expecting their first child.
The couple announced the news on Instagram with a heartfelt post.
The announcement included a picture of a cake with two golden baby feet and the inscription “1 + 1 = 3,” which represented the couple’s upcoming addition to the family.
They shared a video of themselves walking down a road surrounded by greenery, captioned “Our little universe …on its way.” “Blessed beyond measure.”

Their happy news comes shortly after Raghav hinted at the possibility of expanding their family during a joint appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix.
When asked about parenthood on the show, Parineeti and Raghav laughed it off with smiles, alluding to the announcement that has now delighted fans around the world.
The couple married on September 24, 2023, at the Leela Palace Hotel in Udaipur, Rajasthan, in a lavish ceremony attended by film stars, politicians, and close family.
Parineeti’s most recent film appearance was in Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh ‘Chamkila’, where she played Amarjot Chamkila alongside Diljit Dosanjh. She will next appear in an untitled mystery-thriller web series, marking her highly anticipated digital streaming debut and adding another milestone to her diverse career.
