World Cultural Festival 2025 to bring together artists from 100+ countries in Karachi

The Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, is gearing up to host the World Cultural Festival 2025, a grand celebration of global and local heritage that will bring together over 800 artists from more than 100 countries.

A press conference was held at the Arts Council on Tuesday, addressed by Council President Mohammad Ahmed Shah and renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, who highlighted the festival’s significance in promoting cultural harmony and artistic exchange.

 

The month-long festival, scheduled to begin on October 30 and continue until December 7, will feature a diverse range of sessions including theatre, music, dance, fine arts, and film screenings.

Speaking to the media, Ahmed Shah said the event will serve as a platform to showcase Pakistan’s rich culture alongside international traditions, creating a “bridge of understanding” among nations. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan expressed his excitement at being part of an initiative that celebrates creativity and global unity.

The World Cultural Festival is expected to attract a wide audience from across Pakistan and abroad, making Karachi the hub of artistic and cultural dialogue this winter.
