Singer Nimra Mehra was forced to abruptly pause her performance during a concert in Sheikhupura after a disruptive attendee repeatedly shone a green laser into her eyes.
The incident unfolded mid-performance, as a young man in the audience continuously aimed the laser directly at Nimra, visibly affecting her ability to continue singing. Clearly disturbed, she stopped the performance and addressed the crowd, demanding swift action.
“Whoever is doing this cheap stunt of throwing a green light into my eyes, get lost,” she stated firmly. Nimra then called on security personnel to remove the individual responsible, adding that the disruptive behaviour had been ongoing for some time.
Footage of the moment quickly spread across social media, sparking widespread conversation. Many fans applauded Nimra’s courage for directly confronting the situation and prioritising safety over continuing the show.
