A lawsuit has been filed against Bollywood superstar duo Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. According to Indian media reports, a case has been registered in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, against a well-known car brand over allegations of technical defects, with Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone also named in the lawsuit.
The case was filed by a local lawyer, Keerti Singh, who purchased a car worth 23.97 lakh Indian rupees in 2022. According to him, serious technical issues emerged in the car within a few months, which could have led to accidents.
The lawyer stated that the dealership confirmed the issue was due to manufacturing defects and could not be rectified.
The FIR claims that the decision to purchase the car was influenced by advertisements featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, who portrayed the car as completely “trouble-free” in the ads. Police have stated that the case has been registered, and an investigation has been initiated.
