Punjab government has given permission to install electric charging stations in declared commercial areas, it was reported on Thursday.
The government also gave permission to install petrol pumps in commercial areas without approval from the District Design Committee.
Further, Punjab government lifted ban on installing petrol pumps and Local Government Department amended rules for installing petrol pumps.
