Two ministers from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet have resigned on Tuesday.
According to details, Irrigation Minister Aqibullah Khan and Secondary Education Minister Faisal Khan Tarakai have submitted their resignations to Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
Both ministers belong to Swabi district. Aqibullah is the brother of former Speaker Asad Qaiser, while Faisal Tarakai is the brother of Member of the National Assembly Shahram Tarakai.
The resignations come amid strong rumours of a cabinet reshuffle. The speculation gained traction after Chief Minister Gandapur held a meeting with the founding chairman. According to sources, changes in ministerial portfolios and the removal of responsibilities from other ministers remain possible.
