Senate Secretariat has again asked opposition Senators for name of opposition leader as opposition leader’ slot remained vacant after disqualification of Shibli Faraz after conviction, it was reported.
Senate Secretariat said the name proposed by the majority will be appointed as the opposition leader in the Senate.
PTI founder Imran Khan had nominated Allama Raja Nasir Abbas as the opposition leader. However, Senator Shibli Faraz has challenged the disqualification notification in the Supreme Court.
