Gold price in Pakistan witnessed a slight increase on Saturday after declining for five consecutive days.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs1,800, reaching Rs433,662 in the local market.

Global gold prices on rise
In the international market, gold prices increased by $18, reaching $4,113 per ounce. The rise in global prices is attributed to renewed investor interest amid economic uncertainty and currency fluctuations.
Market analysts said the appreciation of the US dollar and shifting interest rate expectations have pushed investors towards safe-haven assets like gold.
Silver prices also see hike
Silver price in Pakistan also followed the same trend. The rate of 24-karat silver per tola witnessed a hike of Rs57 to reach Rs5,124, while 10 grams of silver were being sold for Rs4,393.
