Google has added a new feature to Google Wallet that allows users to add and view their Play Points directly in the app.
The update gives Android users a convenient way to check their Play Points status, track progress, and access perks—all from the Wallet interface.
Play Points can now appear as a digital pass in Google Wallet, displayed below the usual carousel of debit and credit cards. The card includes the Google Play logo and shows your current Play Points status, which can range from Bronze and Silver to Gold, Platinum, or Diamond.
Tapping the card opens a fullscreen view with a graphic showing your total Play Points and the current year. Users can also see how many points they earn per dollar spent and track progress toward the next level through a simple progress bar.

At the bottom, an “Open Play Points” button redirects users to the Google Play page for more detailed account management.
How to add play points to Google Wallet
Adding your Play Points card to Google Wallet is straightforward. To do this:
-
Open the Google Play app on your Android device.
-
Go to the “Perks” tab.
-
Find and tap the “Add Play Points to your Wallet” card.
-
Select “Add to Google Wallet.”
-
In Google Wallet, sign in or choose your account and then tap “Add.”
Once added, you’ll see your Play Points card appear in Google Wallet, allowing easy access to your points and status whenever you open the app.

Extra features and account details
When viewing your Play Points card, tapping the three-dot menu in Google Wallet reveals extra options such as “Member since,” “Play Points history,” and “Level benefits.” Users can also archive or remove the card at any time.
The integration aims to make Google’s rewards system more accessible by combining Play Points management with other Wallet functionalities, creating a more unified experience for Android users.
In addition to the new Wallet feature, Google Play’s “Diamond Valley” mini-game has returned for its second year. The treasure-hunt-style event lets users collect in-game diamonds for a chance to win prizes such as the Pixel Watch 4, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Buds Pro 2, Nest Thermostat, Nest Audio, Nest Mini, and Nest Hub.
The event runs in the U.S. until November 9, with expansions planned for the UK and Brazil later in November.
