ISLAMABAD: The government has raised the prices of petroleum products, with both petrol and high-speed diesel witnessing an upward adjustment, effective from 1 November to 15 November 2025.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the revised rates came into effect from midnight. The latest increase follows a review of petroleum product prices, which are regularly adjusted in line with global trends and local economic considerations.

Petrol has become costlier by Rs2.43 per litre, taking the new price from Rs263.02 to Rs265.45. Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel has been raised by Rs4.04 per litre, moving from Rs275.42 to Rs278.44. These adjustments are part of the government’s routine revision process, which typically occurs fortnightly.
On the other hand, the prices of light diesel have been increased by Re1.22 per litre, and kerosene oil by Rs3.34 per litre. After the increase in the price, the new price of kerosene oil will be Rs185.05 per litre and the new price of light diesel oil is Rs163. 98 per litre.
