Balochistan govt orders to seal Chiltan Ghee Mills

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti presided over a special meeting during which it was decided to take stern action against the occupants of Chiltan Ghee Mills, it was reported on Monday.

Secretary Industries Balochistan informed the meeting participants that Chistan Ghee Mill has been occupied for the last thirty-three years.

He further informed the meeting that the lease contract was terminated after the company violated the agreement in 1992.

Secretary Industries said that various petitions filed by the occupants were dismissed from the court.

He said that the Chiltan Ghee Mills is liable to pay an amount of Rs230 million to the Government of Balochistan.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti expressed strong anger over the administration’s slowness and ordered action against the responsible persons.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that the zero-tolerance policy should be adopted against the persons who are involved in grabbing the government’s land.

The Chief Minister directed to take back the possession of Chiltan Ghee Mill from the occupants and take action be taken against them.
