Anti-Terrorism Court has sent PTI leader Sanam Javed’s sister Falak Javed to jail on 14-day judicial remand in Islamabad Police Attack Case in Zaman Park.
Anti-Terrorism Court Admin Judge Manzar Ali Gul held the hearing of the case. Falak Javed was produced in court after completion of her physical remand.
The prosecution demanded further remand of the accused but the court rejected the request for further physical remand after accused’s 21-day physical remand was completed.
The investigation officer told the court that accused was involved in attack on Islamabad police officers as petrol bomb was recovered from her therefore, further investigation was required.
The investigation officer told the court that accused was involved in attack on Islamabad police in Zaman Park when Police had come to the residence of Imran Khan to comply with the summons. Investigating officer said agitated PTI workers threw petrol bombs and injured police officers. Investigating officer said case No. 410/23 was registered at Race Course Police Station for attacking the police.
