Maha Hasan brings father to limelight with Mirza Ghalib’s poetry

Maha Hasan delighted fans by featuring her father in a heartfelt social media clip celebrating the timeless poetry of Mirza Ghalib.

Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a video showing her and her father explaining Ghalib’s poetry on capitalism.

She wrote that although the father-daughter duo appeared with “poor production quality,” they hoped to deliver “better content quality.”

She added, “Feedback in comments is most welcome. Let us know if you want us to explore any other shair or poets together.”

Maha Hasan rose to fame with the hit drama Ishq Murshid, where she starred alongside Bilal Abbas Khan and Durefishan Saleem.

Her nuanced performances and expressive acting have earned her recognition as one of the industry’s most promising talents.

Before achieving fame, Maha appeared in Nand and Safar Tamam Hua.

Maha made headlines after speaking about childhood harassment and mental health.

In an interview, the 29-year-old actress opened up about her painful past and the emotional toll it took on her belief system.

Without naming anyone, she shared that she had been harassed at a very young age, a trauma that left deep psychological scars.

“Even if you are 18, you are not mature enough to understand that these things are excessive and wrong,” she said, explaining how she once rationalized the harasser’s actions.

Over time, Maha turned to therapy and faith to heal. “I find peace in Namaz now. My faith has returned with full force, and I am finally at peace with where I stand in life,” she shared.

She also shed light on harassment in the entertainment industry, calling for stronger safeguards and accountability for perpetrators.
