PM Shehbaz’s record of services for Punjab can’t be beaten: CM Maryam

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said she had not broken Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s record of performance, rather she was following the path shown by him.

Talking to media men in London, Maryam Nawaz said running Punjab province was not an easy task.

Maryam Nawaz said now people especially women are feeling safe in Punjab after the establishment of CCD.

She said due to great leadership qualities of Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the world is lending ears to Pakistan’s stance.

Maryam Nawaz said that the world has acknowledged Punjab government’s steps for neat and clean province, green buses and measures for handling smog issue.

Punjab Chief Minister reached London yesterday (Thursday) and she will stay there for two days before leaving for Brazil to attend COP30 meeting.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will give a briefing on Punjab’s flagship projects in the COP30 meeting in Brazil.

She will inform the participants about Suthra Punjab and e-mobility and will discuss climate resilient regional leadership.

She is also scheduled to meet important figures and leaders and her meeting with the Vice President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank is also scheduled.

Maryam Nawaz will also meet with the World Bank’s Global Director of Climate Change, while the Punjab Chief Minister is also scheduled to meet with officials of the United Nations Development Programme.

Earlier, the CM stated that public service is the mission of the PML-N and its leader, Nawaz Sharif. She highlighted key welfare projects such as the Kissan Card and free doorstep medicine delivery, calling them proof of the government’s commitment to progress and prosperity.

She added that for the first time in Punjab’s history, three million people have received pay orders worth Rs10,000 at their doorstep, while 1.5 million individuals are benefiting from Rs3,000 monthly through ration cards.
