Punjab government has decided to upgrade database of all mosques in the province, it was reported on Friday.
In this regard, government assigned task to Punjab Information and Technology Board (PITB).
PITB started work on mapping mosques of all school of thoughts.
Data of mosques of 2015 in Punjab will be upgraded and data of 66577 mosques of different school of thoughts in Punjab will be linked to PITB.
Mapping of mosques will help authorities in security and other arrangements.
