KARACHI: Gold witnessed a slight decrease in Pakistan in line with downward trend in international market on Saturday.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold dropped by $6 per ounce bringing the new global price to $4,001 per ounce.
Following the global trend, the local gold markets also saw a reduction in prices. In Pakistan, the price of 24-carat gold per tola fell by Rs600, settling at Rs 422,462.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs514, bringing the new rate to Rs362,193.
A day earlier, both global and local gold prices remained stable with no significant changes.
