Several passenger vehicles were smashed in the worst landslide occurred at Gandlu in the Chilas area of Gilgit-Baltistan on Tuesday.
According to rescue sources, several passengers were reported to be buried.
An emergency has been declared at Chilas Hospital.
According to GB government spokesperson Faizullah Faraq, the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan has directed to expedite the rescue process.
