After a two-day break, gold prices recorded a decline in both international and local markets today (Wednesday).
In the international bullion market, gold prices fell by $10 per ounce, bringing it down to $4,124.
Following the global trend, local gold markets in Pakistan also witnessed a decrease on Wednesday. The price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs. 1,000 per tola, settling at Rs. 434,762.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs. 857, bringing it to Rs. 372,738.
Silver prices also saw a downward trend. The rate for one tola of silver fell by Rs. 81, reaching Rs. 5,434, while the price of 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs. 69 to Rs. 4,658.
Market analysts attribute the fall in prices to fluctuations in the international bullion market and a strengthening U.S. dollar.
