Renowned singer and actor Asim Azhar has finally reacted to a viral concert clip that has taken social media by storm — a video showing his former fiancée, Meerab Ali, enjoying his live performance.
The clip, which features Asim passionately singing his popular track “Dosti Aisa Nata” while Meerab can be seen in the audience, quickly caught the attention of fans.
As soon as it surfaced online, it sparked a wave of speculation, with many social media users guessing that the two might have rekindled their relationship.
However, Asim Azhar addressed the rumors directly, clarifying that the video is actually old. He expressed concern about misleading reports and urged media pages to verify content before sharing it with the public.
In an Instagram story, he wrote, “With all due respect, I want to address certain showbiz pages that are misleading the public by posting old videos. I expect better reporting in the name of journalism.”
He added that pages with millions of followers have a responsibility to present accurate information and context, asking them not to share old content without proper verification.
