Shaheen Afridi, Faheem out as Pakistan elect to bowl first in 2nd Sri Lanka ODI

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first in the second one-day international against Sri Lanka being played in Rawalpindi on Friday, as their regular captain, Shaheen Shah Afridi, was not playing as he was not feeling well, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Stand-in captain Salam Ali Agha reported another change in the side as all-rounder Faheem Ashraf was rested.

Mohammad Wasim Jr and Abrar Saeed are included in the playing XI.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) clarified that tickets purchased for November 13 are valid on November 14, as match was delayed by a day after Tuesday’s suicide bombing in Islamabad.

The third and final ODI of the series will be played on November 16 instead of November 15.

Tickets purchased for November 15 will also be valid for the match on November 16.

Pakistan has a 0-1 lead in this three-match ODI series. The Green Shirts defeated Sri Lanka by six runs in the first match.
