The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has appointed 76 surplus employees from several ministries to positions across the country, issuing a formal notification for their placement.
The employees now included assistants, drivers, and other staff previously employed by the Ministry of National Food Security. Stenotypist Saddam Hussain has been assigned to the Regional Tax Office in Hyderabad, while several drivers now serve in Multan, Bahawalpur, and Karachi.
Naib qasids and animal attendants have been posted to the Chief Tax Office in Karachi. Sanitation staff and a core boring machine operator have also been assigned to the FBR Karachi.
According to the notification, surplus employees adjusted in various field formations. Several naib qasids, chowkidars, bailiffs and notice servers have been placed in the Regional Tax Office in Multan.
Surplus staff have also been assigned to the Regional Tax Offices in Faisalabad and Quetta. All employees retain seniority from their original dates of joining.
