The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has announced that it will hold a grand public meeting in Karachi on November 30 to mark the party’s Foundation Day, it was reported on Wednesday.
The decision was finalized during a meeting of the PPP Karachi Division’s Executive Committee, chaired by Saeed Ghani.
According to Dr. Sharmila Farooqi, preparations for the event were reviewed and approved during the session.
The meeting was attended by senior party leaders, including Waqar Mehdi, Rauf Nagori, Dr. Sharmila Farooqi, and Dr. Shahida Rehmani, along with district presidents and general secretaries.
Participants paid tribute to the sacrifices of the PPP’s leadership and workers, reaffirming their commitment to the party’s legacy. It was unanimously agreed that a large public gathering would be organized in Karachi, with full public participation to be ensured.
Dr. Sharmila Farooqi said the event would highlight the PPP’s ideology, its long-standing struggle, and its historic role in the country’s political landscape.
