Stardom, scandal, and survival: Feroze Khan lays it all bare

The full Episode 5 of The Green Room has finally landed, and Feroze Khan’s unfiltered confessions have sent shockwaves across social media.

Four years after his last major sit-down, the actor holds nothing back and weaves together childhood ambition, career peaks, personal collapse, shoulder injury, and the controversy with ex-wife Aliza Sultan that has defined his public image.

This tell-all started with interviewer Ahmad Randhawa inquiring how Feroze deals with the critique on him and his work, to which the Khaani actor said: “I am a people’s favourite star, not a critic’s favourite.

“At the end of the day, it’s the people who make you a star; it’s the people who make you relevant or irrelevant. As long as the people are standing with me, I don’t care what the critics have to say.”

He recounts undergoing brutal physical preparation for Green Entertainment drama, Akhara: “I trained thrice a day for six months… I went down to 7% body fat… I broke my shoulder.”

He revealed that he had to camp in Islamabad for seven months while shooting, away from the family, and simultaneously dealing with court trials. He called the experience transformative.

Reflecting on his early rise, he recalls, “I was a very young superstar… the first time I was nominated as Best Actor, I was nominated against Qavi Khan sahab – and I won.”

He believes that moment alone was enough validation: “My acting career had given me an Oscar over there, if if if accolades prove something.”

The Khuda Aur Mohabbat actor also disclosed what he thought in times of the domestic violence charges against him, and significant actors (like Iqra Aziz), refused to work with him.

“This career doesn’t feed my household. I’ll become a tailor; I’ll start selling clothes,” he said.

Discussing the temptations of fame and challenges faced by actors, he warns young artists: “Once you attain a level of stardom, sex, money, and power become your challenges. Everyone suffers through these challenges; one should guard oneself against them.”

Opening up about his emotional breaking point, he recalls riding around on a scooty. “Just chilling, but miserable, I was missing my kids because I wasn’t allowed to see my kids.”

He said both families later helped resolve visitation.

“Both families were kind enough that finally we sorted it to a level where I could see the kids and I could meet them easily.”

On the long-standing allegations by ex-wife Aliza, Feroze offers his version.

“My side of the story is very simple. A girl and I were in a relationship, and everyone has good and bad days. And one of our bad days became very bad. And later, whatever happened, maybe she got scared. What happened that I got these false charges on me. I never ever ever ever …  I’m not the kind of guy that pulls out a gun on a girl…I never hit.”

He also advised the viewers: “Never hit, never test your strength on people. This is what I want to teach people. If you want to be successful in life, then make the women in your vicinity always feel secure, respected, and safe.”

With the episode now public, Feroze’s narrative is raw, defensive, vulnerable, and certain to spark debate as audiences revisit years of allegations, legal documents, and the actor’s own evolving account.
