President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has summoned the sessions of Senate and the National Assembly on Thursday (tomorrow) evening.
According to an official notification issued by the National Assembly Secretariat on Wednesday, the National Assembly will meet on Thursday, November 27, at 5 pm at the Parliament House. The sitting will mark the 22nd session of the current Assembly.
The President exercised his authority under Clause (1) of Article 54 of the Constitution of Pakistan to convene the session.
The President also summoned the session of Senate at Parliament House in Islamabad on Thursday, Nov 27, at 4:00 pm.
The session has been summoned by the President in exercise of his powers under Article 54(1) of the Constitution of Pakistan, which authorizes him to convene sessions of Parliament.
