Shareholders approve 30pc cash dividend for FY 2024-2025

LAHORE: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced the second-highest profit in its corporate history for FY 2024–25, as presented during the 61st Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore.
Shareholders endorsed the Company’s annual audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.

SNGPL recorded a profit before tax of Rs. 24,446 million and a profit after tax of Rs. 14,592 million, resulting in earnings per share (EPS) of Rs. 23.01.
On the recommendation of the Board, the shareholders approved a final cash dividend of Rs. 3.00 per share (30%) for FY 2024–25. The AGM also approved the re-appointment of M/s A.F. Ferguson & Co., Chartered Accountants, as external auditors for FY 2025–26.

A notable achievement during the year was the reduction in UFG volumetric losses from 31,317 MMCF to 30,026 MMCF, driven by the implementation of the TBS-based micromanagement initiative, enhanced surveillance measures, increased monitoring in high-risk areas, timely detection and rectification of leakages, and continuous improvement of measurement systems.

The meeting also featured an interactive session with shareholders, where constructive feedback was shared. All queries were responded to comprehensively, ensuring full satisfaction of the participants.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Ismail Qureshi. Among those present were Directors Mr. Saadat Ali Khan, Ms. Faaria Rehman Salahuddin, and Mr. Ahmed Chinoy, along with Mr. Amer Tufail (MD), Mr. Faisal Iqbal, DMD (S), Mr. Saqib Arbab, DMD (Ops), Mr. Kamran Akram, CFO, and Mr. Imtiaz Mehmood, SGM (Corporate Affairs) / Company Secretary. Other Directors — Mr. Tariq Iqbal Khan, Mr. Sajjad Azhar, and Mr. Jawad Paul Khawaja — joined via video link. Senior Management of the Company also attended the AGM.
