The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the bidding fees for the two new franchises that will be added to the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in the upcoming edition.
The board has established a refundable security fee of $200,000 and a non-refundable fee of $20,000 for potential bidders.
The introduction of these bidding fees aims to ensure that only serious buyers participate in the process. Interested parties are required to submit their offers along with the prescribed bidding fees.
The PCB has made it clear that it will thoroughly review all submitted documents to filter out any unserious bidders, including those who might seek to submit papers for publicity purposes.
The deadline for submitting bids is set for December 15, with many speculating that the new teams will add an exciting dynamic to the popular T20 league.
