Commerce minister arrives in Cairo for D-8 summit

Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal arrived on Sunday in Cairo to attend the D-8 Council of Trade Ministers, where he will represent Pakistan in the opening session and subsequent meetings.

According top details surfaced, upon his arrival at Cairo Airport, Pakistan’s Ambassador, Aamir Shouket, and Egyptian officials received the minister. Officials confirmed that Jam Kamal will present Pakistan’s position on trade cooperation within the organisation.

During the visit, the minister will hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from member states. Ministerial activities arranged for the D-8 Council, as well as visits to key cultural sites, form part of the official schedule.
