Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with Turkiye’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Alparslan Bayraktar, at the GHQ to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing regional stability.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the leaders held talks on matters of mutual interest, with a special focus on boosting cooperation in the energy sector. The discussions also explored avenues for broader strategic collaboration between the two countries.
Field Marshal Munir highlighted the deep-rooted, historic brotherly ties between Pakistan and Turkiye and praised its consistent support for Pakistan on international platforms. Minister Bayraktar acknowledged Pakistan’s contributions towards regional peace, stability, and sustainable development.
The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both nations to work together on shared objectives and further strengthen their partnership.
