Punjab Police Inspector General (IG) Dr Usman Anwar on Tuesday approved a major reshuffle across the province, transferring multiple senior officers across various regions.
A formal notification regarding the transfers and postings has been issued.
According to the details, RPO Faisalabad Zeeshan Asghar has been posted as DIG Welfare, while Sohail Akhtar Sukhaira is posted as the new RPO Faisalabad.
In another major move, RPO Gujranwala Tayyab Hafeez Cheema has been transferred and posted as DIG SPU, while Khuram Shehzad Haider is appointed as the new RPO Gujranwala.
Similarly, RPO Bahawalpur Rai Babar Saeed has been posted as DIG Special Branch, and Ghazi Salahuddin is appointed as the new RPO Bahawalpur.
The reshuffle also included the transfer of RPO Sahiwal Mahboob Rashid Mian, who has been appointed as Commandant Police School of Intelligence, while Muhammad Ayaz Saleem Rana has been posted as the new RPO Sahiwal.
In DG Khan, RPO Captain (r) Sajjad Manj has been transferred and appointed as DIG Security Special Branch, and Muhammad Azhar Akram has been posted as the new RPO DG Khan.
Additionally, Dr Sardar Ghias Gul Khan has been appointed as the CPO Gujranwala.
