Family rift? Dharmindra leaves sons out of property share

After the death of Bollywood icon Dharmendra, his sons Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and other family members no longer hold any legal claim to his ancestral property in Ludhiana.

The farmhouse and surrounding land valued at nearly ₹5 crore have already transferred out of the Deol brothers’ inheritance.

Reports reveal that Dharmendra had made arrangements several years ago to gift his ancestral land and house to his uncle’s grandsons.

According to relatives from the village, Dharmendra’s connection to the land was deeply sentimental. Although he moved to Mumbai to pursue his acting career, his cousins and their children continued to maintain and cultivate the land in his absence.

Acknowledging their decades of care and loyalty, Dharmendra decided to formally hand over the property to them. Despite, the property no longer being part of the Deol family’s inheritance, Dharmendra’s legacy continues in the world of cinema.

Fans will see him one final time in the upcoming film ‘Ikkis’, starring alongside Agastya Nanda, directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film is scheduled to release on December 25 exactly one month after the veteran actor’s passing serving as a heartfelt tribute to his remarkable career.
