PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif approved the Gujranwala Mass Transit Project on Thursday.
A special meeting was chaired by PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif which was attended by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif and other concerned officers of the Punjab government.
Provincial Minister for Transport Bilal Akbar briefed about the features of Gujranwala Mass Transit Project aimed at for the convenience of the people. He said that Mass Transit Project will be more than 30 kilometers long from Aimanabad to Ghakhar.
Bilal Akbar said Mass Transit Project will benefit more than 51,000 passengers daily as40 electric buses will be operated in the Transit Project.
PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif said that mass transit project was the right of the people of Gujranwala, which they should have got long ago. Nawaz Sharif said he was happy with the development of Gujranwala and the convenience provided to the people.
