Talal Ch says there is limit to tolerating anti-state narrative

Commenting on the tirade against the Pakistan Army and Field Marshal Asim Munir by PTI leaders, Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry said on Monday that for how long the institution would bear this insult.

He said that there was nothing in the PTI’s rally in Peshawar on Sunday except abuses and anti-state narrative.

He further said that it was the PTI’s propaganda against the state institutions, which made the DG ISPR to give a strong-worded reply.

“But now enough is enough and whosoever will indulge in such a loose talk will be taken to the task,” he warned.

The minister also warned that now whosoever indulged in hooliganism outside the Adiala Jail would be dealt with an iron hand.

He made it clear that from now on, no one would be allowed to create unrest in the country.

He was of the view that these people were creating issues for other jail inmates as well.

He made it clear that the PTI was not worth talking to.

Talal went on to say that the former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan had never condemned the militants operating in KP. “He always has had a soft corner for them.”

The minister opined that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) was presently mired in problems.

Talal said that nobody will be permitted to incite anarchy or hurl baseless allegations against state institutions. He strongly condemned the language used by the PTI leaders in Peshawar gathering. He said the Army is not interfering in politics but regretted that the PTI deliberately tries to drag the institution into the politics.

Highlighting the services of armed forces for the country, the minister said most recently they delivered a defeat to the enemy. He expressed pride in the sacrifices of the martyrs and the bravery of the Ghazis.

Talal made it clear that baseless allegations against the military will no longer be tolerated and there will be practical demonstration of it.

He said writ of the law will be ensured and nobody will be allowed to create law and order situation outside Adiala Jail.
