The Chairman of Pakistan’s National Industrial Relations Commission (NIRC) Justice (R) Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui, a former Islamabad High Court judge, has resigned from his post citing personal reasons.
Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui said he was appointed as Chairman NIRC on December 2, 2024.
He assumed the office of Chairman NIRC on December 4, 2024. The notice of termination of contract sent to the President through the Secretary Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis.
Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui wrote in his resignation letter that due to personal reasons, it is no longer possible for him to fulfill his responsibilities and perform his duties therefore he was giving one month’s notice under clause XII of the agreement for the termination of his agreement.
