The federal government on Tuesday decided to depute the Pakistan Army and Frontier Constabulary (FC) during the local bodies repolling in NA-251 and NA-252 in Quetta.
According to details, the federal government decided after receiving a request from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) under Section 245 of the Constitution.
Frontier Constabulary will be deputed according to the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997. Final preparations are underway for peaceful repolling in these constituencies.
The local bodies elections will be held in Zhob, Sheerani, and Qila Saifullah on December 28, 2025.
