The much-awaited Toshakhana-II case against the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Bushra Bibi is expected to be heard tomorrow (Saturday) at Adiala Jail, it was reported on Friday.
According to court sources, the court staff has reportedly informed the accused’s lawyer, Salman Safdar, about the schedule.
The last hearing in the case was held on October 16 at Adiala Jail, after which the proceedings have been postponed three times.
During the hearings, all evidence, including witness testimonies, the statements of the accused under Section 342 of the Criminal Procedure Code, and final arguments, has been completed.
Sources revealed that once the prosecution submitted its reply to the final rejoinders, the court might proceed to reserve its judgment in the case.
The Toshakhana-II case has remained in the spotlight due to its high-profile nature and the political significance surrounding the proceedings.
