Pakistan to face India in U-19 Asia Cup final after convincing win over Bangladesh

Pakistan booked their place in the final of the Under-19 Asia Cup after registering a comprehensive eight-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the semifinals at Dubai on Friday.

The rain-affected match was reduced to 27 overs per side.

Batting first, Bangladesh were bundled out for 122 runs, struggling against a disciplined Pakistani bowling attack.

Abdul Subhan delivered an impressive spell, picking up four wickets to put Bangladesh under pressure, while Huzaifa Ahsan provided effective support by claiming two wickets.

In reply, Pakistan made light work of the modest target, reaching 122 for the loss of just two wickets and with 63 balls to spare.

Sameer Mehnas anchored the chase with a superb knock of 69 runs, displaying composure and attacking intent to steer Pakistan comfortably into the final.

With this victory, Pakistan set up a much-anticipated clash against arch-rivals India in the Under-19 Asia Cup final, scheduled to be played on Sunday.
