English model Katie Price has added one of her most personal tattoos yet to her ever-growing collection, by having her own face permanently inked onto her leg.
The former glamour model, 47, is no stranger to body art and now boasts more than 20 tattoos. Last year, she dramatically transformed her back with a full set of angel wings, and just days ago she revealed a large floral tattoo across her bottom.
Now, she has unveiled yet another striking design, this time featuring a face she knows very well.
Sharing the new tattoo on social media, Katie showed off a detailed portrait of herself woven into an intricate floral pattern on her leg.
Clearly delighted with the result, she captioned the post: “I absolutely love it!! Now that is what you call a piece of ART!”
The latest inking comes shortly after Katie spent a gruelling six hours in the tattoo chair completing the bold floral design on her bottom, a tattoo that has drawn comparisons to Cheryl’s famous rose inking.
Over the years, Katie has frequently marked relationships and milestones with tattoos, though not all have stood the test of time. She previously had tributes to ex-husband Peter Andre and former fiancé Leandro Penna, both of which she later covered up following their splits.
Last month, she gave fans a glimpse into the early stages of her most recent tattoo journey.
Taking to Snapchat, she shared a sneak peek of the design once it had been sketched onto her skin, writing: “Tattoo round 3′ and adding: ‘My bum is so painful”.
She later admitted the process was excruciating, confessing that the pain had left her feeling completely drained after hours under the needle. Katie has also had the face of ex-partner Carl Woods tattooed onto her arm.
Her extensive collection includes a garter on her thigh, a crown in honour of her daughter Princess, 18, and a rose that was used to cover up Peter Andre’s name. Following the breakdown of her marriage to Pete in 2009, Katie famously had a giant X tattooed over his name.
She once had the name of her ex Leandro inked onto her ankle, complete with the date they met, but that too was covered after their split in 2012.
Other meaningful tattoos include red hearts and stars on her wrist for her sons Harvey, 23, and Junior, 20, a bow on her hip symbolising her loved ones being “tied together,” and the initials H and J on the back of her neck.
Additional designs include a pony and ribbon on her ankle, two more bow tattoos, a crown and microphone to represent “self worth,” a heartbeat on her right wrist, and a heart with wings on her left wrist.
The tattoo reveal comes amid fresh headlines surrounding Katie after she addressed rumours that she is obsessed with Love Island star Maura Higgins.
Speaking on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, she shut down the claims and praised Maura’s looks.
She said: “Maura is absolutely beautiful and I sent her a message saying that she was absolutely stunning. I had a few comments saying that I am obsessed with her.
“I am not obsessed with anything or anyone. Am I not allowed to say another woman is stunning? I look nothing like Maura Higgins, if I was obsessed with her I’d have smaller boobs, I’d stop having tattoos. I think she is the most stunning person in the UK by far.”
Her sister and co-host Sophie then joked: “But would you kiss Danny Jones?”
Katie replied bluntly: “No thank you,” before the conversation moved on.
