Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Mohsin Naqvi presided over a special meeting at ACC Headquarters in Dubai in which it was decided to establish state-of-the-art high-performance centers to promote cricket, it was reported on Monday.
During the meeting, ACC President Mohsin Naqvi thanked the ACC team for taking the best measures for the ACC Under-19 Cricket tournament.
Mohsin Naqvi said that due to the hard work of the entire team, Pakistan won the Under-19 cricket tournament.
The participants of the meeting said that Asian countries that do not have the facilities of high-performance centers will be able to benefit from modern cricket facilities on a priority basis.
ACC President Mohsin Naqvi directed to expand the scope of high-performance centers gradually.
Bangladesh Cricket Board President Aminul Islam, Chairman Afghan Cricket Board Mirwaiz Wais Ashraf, and General Secretary Emirates Cricket Board Mubassir Usmani.
ACC’s Thosit Perera and other officials were also present during the meeting.
