Fans say ‘Astaghfirullah’ to Yashma Gill and Hania Aamir’s Christmas celebrations

Yashma Gill offered a cheerful glimpse into her Christmas celebrations by sharing a festive photo carousel on Instagram, featuring close friends and longtime confidante Hania Aamir.

Captioned simply with a Christmas tree and Santa emoji, the post captured an intimate indoor gathering marked by soft lighting, festive décor, and relaxed joy.

The carousel opens with Yashma posing in front of a towering indoor Christmas tree adorned with warm white lights and classic ornaments, setting a cozy holiday tone.

Another frame shows a beautifully arranged dinner table illuminated by candles, with deep red roses placed thoughtfully across the setting.

Yashma is seen holding a Christmas invite in her hand, smiling gently as she stands beside the table, giving the moment a personal and hosted feel.

A close-up shot highlights a plate of marshmallows generously coated in chocolate and colorful sprinkles, adding a playful dessert detail to the evening.

Further images include Yashma posing with balloons indoors, reinforcing the celebratory mood.

One of the standout moments from the carousel shows Hania Aamir dressed up as Santa Claus, complete with a Santa hat and a faux beard, leaning into the festive spirit with humor.

The post concludes with a group selfie featuring both actresses alongside friends, capturing the closeness and comfort of a private celebration away from formal events.

Hania Aamir also shared her own Christmas dump from the same evening, describing it as a quiet celebration at home with friends.

She wrote, “A day spent at home with friends, with warmth and sincerity. Moments like these carry their own quiet meaning, rooted in love, empathy, and respect, values that matter to all of us.”

She also noted the significance of seeing Lahore acknowledge Christmas publicly, calling it a quietly unifying experience, and wished everyone celebrating a Merry Christmas.

However, little did these actresses know that their joyful celebration will cause many heart-fails.

Instead of being appreciative about their celebratory get together, fans were eager to offer their unsolicited advice and called out the actresses for hurting their religious sentiments.

One user commented: “Astaghfirullah minha vida”, while another prayed for them to embark the journey to righteousness.

Another troller said: “Shakal se he christian lagti hai”, while one mentioned: “Har event inho ne celebrate karna hota ha kabi kabi to shak hota ha ka muslims bi ha ya nahi”.

One user commented: “No, Allah “.

Another user was of the opinion: “Sometimes we become so influenced by Western culture and standards that we start assuming whatever comes from the West is automatically right and superior. As Muslims, our identity should come from Islam, not from trends or appearances. Respecting others is important, but adopting or celebrating religious practices that go against Islamic beliefs needs serious reflection. Islam is not outdated; it is complete and timeless.”
