2025 proved strong chapter in Pak-US partnership, says Natalie Baker

US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker has said 2025 proved to be a new and strong chapter in the US-Pakistan partnership, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
In a video message, Natalie Baker said bilateral cooperation has increased significantly through investment and exchanges.
She said that US-Pakistan relations have further strengthened in 2025.

Natalie A. Baker, a Minister Counselor in the Senior Foreign Service, assumed the duties of Chargé d’Affaires ad interim (CDA) at the U.S. Embassy Islamabad in January 2025.  She arrived in Islamabad as Deputy Chief of Mission in August 2024.  From August 2021 to July 2024, Natalie served as Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Doha, Qatar.  Prior to this, she served as Director of the Office of North African Affairs in the State Department’s Near Eastern Affairs Bureau.
Natalie has previously served as Deputy Chief of Mission and Charge d’Affaires, a.i. of the U.S. Mission to Libya, Deputy Director of the Iran Regional Presence Office at the U.S. Consulate in Dubai, and Economic Counselor at the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait.
From 2009-2011, Natalie served as Political and Economic Counselor in Libya, as the bilateral relationship was normalizing after a nearly 30-year pause. She remained in Libya until the Libyan Revolution forced the U.S. Embassy to evacuate in February 2011.
Natalie’s other assignments include Special Assistant in the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, Consular Officer in Islamabad, Pakistan, and Cultural Affairs Officer in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
Natalie holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Princeton University and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.  She is a 2017 Distinguished Graduate of the National War College, National Defense University of the United States of America.  Her foreign languages include Arabic, Spanish, Farsi, and Russian.
