On the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Safe Cities Authority has launched emergency free mobile phone charging service in Lahore.
According to Safe Cities Authority spokesperson, four facilities will be available at one location in Lahore: Panic button, CM-free Wi-Fi, emergency-free mobile phone charging and 24/7 citizen safety monitoring.
Safe City spokesperson said there are plan to provide emergency free mobile phone charging service at 100 locations in Lahore. He said safety zones to be more effective for the protection of citizens, emergency free mobile phone charging facility.
The emergency free mobile phone charging ports installed at 30 locations in Lahore so far. Public has started benefiting from emergency free mobile phone charging facility.
