A summary was sent to President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday for convening the Senate session on January 14.
The summary was sent by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
According to sources, legislation will be done at the Senate session on Islamabad local government.
They disclosed that the appointment of the new opposition leader was also likely to be taken up at the session.
Besides that, sources informed more important legislations are also expected at the session.
